What consistent posting could be worth: a modelled estimate
This is a model, not a client result. It takes a deliberately low views-per-video assumption and prices the resulting views at an industry-average paid-social CPM (the cost of 1,000 ad impressions). The answer is what that same reach would cost if you bought it as ads. All figures are in US dollars.
The assumptions
| Input | Value used | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Views per video | 200 | Assumed minimum. The measured example below averaged under 800 views per piece (289,342 views across 366+ pieces). |
| Videos per employee per day | 5 | Assumed posting pace |
| Platforms each video is posted to | 4 | Assumed (the same video posted to four short-video platforms) |
| Posting days | 30 a month × 12 months (360 a year) | Assumed (every day, including weekends) |
| Impressions per employee per year | 1,440,000 | Calculated. Each view is counted as one impression. |
| CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions) | US$5 | Industry average. See the source below. |
| Team size (team figure only) | 5 employees | Example |
| Currency | US dollars (US$) | Same currency as the CPM source |
The formula
The CPM source
Gupta Media, State of Social Media CPM Report: Social Media Ads Cost in 2025 (2025 average CPMs as of October 2025, US$): TikTok US$4.82, YouTube US$4.99, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) US$8.19. The US$5 used here is about the TikTok and YouTube average, and below Meta’s.
What this model does not do: organic views aren’t guaranteed, and an organic view isn’t the same as a paid impression. CPMs vary by platform, industry, audience and season. The model doesn’t subtract the cost of Promptur or of employees’ time. Change any input and the result changes in proportion.
