What’s your sales floor’s downtime worth?
Enter your numbers. See how many videos your team could make in the time it already has.
Promptur is a video content platform for sales teams. Each salesperson gets a question on screen, written for your store, then records and shares a short answer (about two minutes) from the Promptur recording app.
If you’ve got time to coast, you’ve got time to post.
Your team’s downtime
- – minutes of downtime a month across – salespeople.
- That’s room for up to – two-minute videos, if every downtime minute went to recording.
A more realistic rhythm
- One video per salesperson per working day = – videos a month.
- That uses – minutes, about – of your team’s downtime.
Cost, side by side
| Per month | Per year | |
|---|---|---|
| Your ad spend (your number) | US$– | US$– |
| Promptur licence for – salespeople at US$– | US$– plus applicable taxes | US$– plus applicable taxes |
The licence would be –% of your current monthly ad spend.
Add your ad spend to see the two side by side.
This is not a saving. It shows two costs next to each other so you can judge them. We don’t know what your ads bring in, and we don’t promise what videos will bring in.
These are estimates based on the numbers you enter, not a promise of results.
How we worked this out
- Downtime minutes a month = salespeople × downtime minutes per day × working days
M = S × D × W - Videos possible if all downtime went to recording = downtime minutes a month ÷ 2
V_max = floor(M ÷ 2)
Nobody should spend all their downtime recording. This number only shows the scale. - One video per salesperson per working day = salespeople × working days
V_day = S × W - Time that takes = one-a-day videos × 2 minutes
T_day = V_day × 2 - Share of downtime that uses = time for one a day ÷ downtime minutes a month × 100
Share = T_day ÷ M × 100(show “n/a” if M is 0) - Licence cost a month = salespeople × licence price
L = S × P(plus applicable taxes) - Licence cost a year = licence cost a month × 12
L_year = L × 12(plus applicable taxes) - Licence cost as a share of ad spend (only if ad spend is entered and above 0) = licence cost a month ÷ monthly ad spend × 100
L_share = L ÷ A × 100
Rounding: minutes and videos as whole numbers; money to whole dollars; percentages to one decimal place.
Worked example
Every figure here is an Example, not an average.
- Example: 10 salespeople × 30 minutes a day × 22 working days = 6,600 minutes a month.
- Example: 6,600 ÷ 2 = up to 3,300 two-minute videos, if every minute went to recording.
- Example: one video per salesperson per working day = 10 × 22 = 220 videos, using 440 minutes, about 6.7% of downtime.
- Example: licence = 10 × US$149 = US$1,490 a month, US$17,880 a year, plus applicable taxes.
- Ad spend: [your number]. We don’t put an example here, because any number would look like a benchmark.
