ROI model

What consistent posting could be worth: a modelled estimate

This is a model, not a client result. It takes a deliberately low views-per-video assumption and prices the resulting views at an industry-average paid-social CPM (the cost of 1,000 ad impressions). The answer is what that same reach would cost if you bought it as ads. All figures are in US dollars.

1 video=200 views (assumed minimum)
5 videos a day=1,000 views a day
1,000 views a day×4 platforms=4,000 views a day
4,000 views a day×30 days=120,000 views a month
120,000 views a month×12 months=1,440,000 views a year (about 1.4 million)
1,440,000 views ÷ 1,000×US$5 CPM=US$7,200 a year in equivalent ad spend, per employee
Modelled estimate, not a client result
US$7,200
per employee, per year, in equivalent ad spend. That’s US$36,000 a year for a 5-person team (5 × US$7,200). Built from the assumptions below and an industry-average CPM. It is not a measured result from any client.

The formula

Annual value per employee = views per video × videos per day × platforms × 30 days × 12 months × CPM ÷ 1,000 = 200 × 5 × 4 × 30 × 12 × US$5 ÷ 1,000 = 1,440,000 impressions × US$5 ÷ 1,000 = US$7,200

The CPM source

Gupta Media, State of Social Media CPM Report: Social Media Ads Cost in 2025 (2025 average CPMs as of October 2025, US$): TikTok US$4.82, YouTube US$4.99, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) US$8.19. The US$5 used here is about the TikTok and YouTube average, and below Meta’s.

What this model does not do: organic views aren’t guaranteed, and an organic view isn’t the same as a paid impression. CPMs vary by platform, industry, audience and season. The model doesn’t subtract the cost of Promptur or of employees’ time. Change any input and the result changes in proportion.
